Tools: 3D Scanning, Texture Experimentation, Image Recostruction
Research project exploring questions: How much do we rely on fiction, narrative and images? Is the human brain the first render machine? Does memory deteriorate like resolution? Through documenting the physical space with 3D scanning, we freeze a moment in time, connected with all the momories of the people that have passed. The image initially is in a form of pure information: numbers in columns and rows. Then the text (file) is converted into visual language, which allows us to experiment with the form’s proportions, textures and context - exchanging information between scans in a parallel of exchanging memories.
